This dog was revved up.

Nova, a 2-year-old Weimaraner, was rescued after she got stuck inside a classic car’s engine while chasing down a cat, according to a report.

The pooch wedged herself deep into the engine area of a ’67 Chevy Nova in Phoenix while pursuing a cat that had tried to hide in the car, SWNS reported.

The American Humane Society (AHS) of Arizona was called to the bizarre scene.

Photos show Nova wrangled within the engine’s components, unable to free her head.

After about 15 minutes of making sure the terrified pup’s limbs were free, they slowly pushed her out of the vehicle to safety.

Nova immediately began wagging her tail to show her appreciation for her rescuers, according to the outlet.

AHS Field Operations Manager Ruthie Jesus said she has only ever seen one other dog get stuck in a car engine in her 10 years on the job — but that dog was significantly smaller than Nova, who weighs about 50 pounds.

The agency took the dog in for a medical observation, and after being spayed, is up for adoption.
